Bherunda Nitya Devi is the fourth of the fifteen Nitya Devis in the Śrīvidyatradition, associated with the fourth lunar day (Chaturthi Tithi) and Planet Mercury. She is depicted with a golden body, three eyes, and eight arms holding a noose, goad, shield, sword, mace, thunderbolt, bow, and arrow. Her worship is linked to protection from poison, negativity, and misfortune, while also bringing success, peace, and a fearless heart.
