Haridra Ganapati is a yellow-hued, auspicious form of the Hindu deity Ganesha, whose name comes from "haridra," meaning turmeric. As one of the 32 forms of Ganesha, he is worshipped for removing obstacles, achieving success in marriage and career, and for general prosperity. He is depicted as yellow-skinned, wearing yellow clothes, and often holds an ankusha (goad), pasha (noose), and modaka (sweet).
